Solar Flood Light (small)

4.67 out of 5

A solar LED flood light that automatically turns on when the sun dies and off when the sun rises. With the solar panel not built in to the light it is easy to place the panel in an area where it is going to get the most sun and off a full days charge the light will last all night. There is no switch, but as the battery is built in to the solar panel, if you wish to turn the light off, you just need to disconnect the light from the panel.

This solar flood light is perfect for lighting up small to medium areas such as gazebos, sheds, stables, gardens, BBQ areas etc… Because it is an LED flood light it has a wide beam giving a good spread of light. The solar flood light comes with a mounting bracket and is designed to be fixed to a structure, however there is nothing stopping you from simply sitting it in the garden if you wish to use it as a solar garden light. It is also handy for giving the impression of someone being home when you go away, as it will turn on and off automatically using the daylight sensor.

Is also a very popular light for camping and can light up a decent area of the campsite without being blindingly bright. The top quality lithium ion battery will last 10 hours when fully charged and to preserve battery life in poor weather, simply disconnect the light from the battery which is built into the panel.

  • Panel – 5v/2w polycristalline
  • Lithium ion rechargeable battery 3.7v/2Ah working time approx 10 hrs after fully charged
  • cool white
  • day/night sensor
  • 28 superbright leds
  • 5m cable

I purchased this solar flood light for my garage and it is brighter than any other solar light I have bought. I originally thought the solar panel was too small, but am yet to see the light run out of charge. There are a lot of LEDs packed in there which i think helps with the brightness and the efficiency. The solar panel and light housing are pretty durable and seem to handle the Aussie weather pretty well which is important up here in Queensland where it’s bloody hot, with a few wild storms thrown in as well!

Great to find a solar light that lasts. The first one I bought to light up a tree in our backyard, still going strong to this day. We have just bought another to take camping to light up outside our tent. Really simple solar light to setup, and durable enough to leave out in the garden no worries. Delivery was very quick.

I purchased a few lights from this site & they have all been better than I expected. I used this one in my front entrance where it was going to cost me $150 just for the electrical wiring, so this worked out great. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fast & easy light install with great light. Thanks to Matt who helped out heaps with questions I had.
