  1.   Solar Spot Light

The Solar Spot Light is the smallest of the solar lights and is commonly used as a garden or path light. The battery on this light is built in to the solar panel, which means that the solar panel will charge the battery even when it is not connected to the LED light. The flip side of this is that the LED light will not operate unless it is plugged in to the solar panel. This is the simplest of the solar lights to install as both the LED light and the solar panel come with stake attachments to simply stick them into the ground with. There is a 5m cable for this solar light, so as long as there is a sunny spot for the solar panel within 5m of where you would like the light, then its as simple as staking the solar panel and LED light into the ground and joining the two together using the waterproof plug on the end of the cable. The LED light then operates using a daylight sensor which switches the light on at night and off in the morning.solar spot light installationConnecting solar spotlight

  1. Small Solar Flood Light

The Small Solar Flood Light is very similar to the Solar Spot Light in the way that it operates, with a slightly larger light output. Again the battery is built into the solar panel, however this light is more designed to be mounted to a fixture as opposed to stuck in the ground. Both the solar panel and LED light come with mounting brackets for installation onto the side of your home or shed. This solar light also comes with 5m of cable and waterproof connectors, so again it is as easy as plugging the light into the solar panel. The light will then also operate using the daylight sensor. As there is no switch, if you ever wanted to switch the light off it’s as easy as disconnecting the LED light from the solar panel.

  1. Solar Motion Sensor Flood Light

The Solar Motion Sensor Flood Light is a touch different from the first two solar lights as the light needs to be triggered by the motion sensor to operate. It is commonly used in entrance areas to the home and both the LED light and solar panel have mounting brackets for easy installation to the side of your home. The battery for this solar light is built into the LED light itself. This means the battery will not charge unless the LED light and solar panel are connected, however once the battery is charged the LED light can operate without being connected to the solar panel. 5m of cable allows you to find the ideal spot for both the LED light and the solar panel. The motion sensor has a range of 10m and can be adjusted to operate the light for varied lengths of time once activated. Once you have chosen the length of time you would like the light to stay on for, using the simple digital display on the motion sensor, it is just a matter of joining the LED light and solar panel using the waterproof connector.

  1. Large Solar Flood Light

The Large Solar Flood Light is an extremely high quality and high performing solar light, which is used to light up yards or warehouses. It is designed to be mounted to a fixture using the brackets provided for both the solar panel and the LED light. Similar to the Solar Motion Sensor Flood Light, the battery is built into the LED light so the light can operate without being connected to the solar panel. This solar light does contain an on/off switch however if left switched on it will operate using the daylight sensor which allows only to run at night. Again there is 5m of cable between the LED light and solar panel and once installed, it is just a matter of connecting the two together using the waterproof plug.
